Position Summary

RoadMap is seeking a motivated and talented Associate Consultant to expand our data science and analytics teams. As an Associate Consultant here you will be working side by side with both teams on projects from multiple industries. Associates are responsible for designing, developing and delivering analyses leveraging data sources (e.g., PHI, ERP, SCP etc.) that meet clients and internal project team needs and offer value-add insights. On each project, Associate Consultants/Consultants are introduced to the workings and requirements of individual clients, gather information, create and interpret analyses, and present findings to project teams and clients. Associate Consultants/Consultants develop their skills through extensive formal and informal training, as well as receiving mentorship that encourages them to stretch their analytical skills and push them to connect real world problems with data science solutions.

Position Responsibilities

Comprehend our client’s commercial and business needs and interpret analytical/quantitative information that business insights can be derived from to add value to a particular solution or project
Work with teams to deliver on projects; daily reporting, adhoc analysis processes and methodologies etc.
Develop understanding of multiple industries business objectives, business rules and data analysis methodologies/processes
Derive insight from drilling down data and understanding information to convey clear, concise actionable insight and solutions that our team together can provide to our clients and partners
Work as a point of contact for assigned deliverables and internal communications that is crucial to our abilities to help our clients with their needs and goals

Position Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree required; quantitative, business or related fields preferred. Coursework/minor in biology / science preferred.

Work Experience: 0-2 years of work experience in analyzing life science, PHI and or patient data. Experience with life science real world evidence data is preferred.

Other Required Skills:

Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills (including interpretation of statistics)
Demonstrated experience using the Microsoft suite to communicate insights using data analyses
Extensive problem solving and logical thinking skills
Understanding knowledge of life science/patient data to multiple levels of the healthcare industry (i.e. HMOs, specialty pharmacies, pharmaceutical companies, etc.)
Experience with SQL, Tableau, PowerBI preferred
Knowledge of SAS, SPSS, R, Python
