Forecasting and analytics consulting
RoadMap's consultants build, validate and operationalize demand models on your data. We work with planning, supply chain, finance and commercial teams at Fortune 500 and life science companies, using the Geneva Forecasting™ Engine and statistical practice refined since 1988. Every engagement starts with a pilot that proves the ROI before you scale.
Consulting services
Patient behavior, market access, price, promotion. We isolate what's actually moving your demand, measure each driver, and turn it into decisions your commercial and planning teams can act on.
Baselines, scenarios and forecast improvement built for real S&OP cycles in life sciences and consumer goods, with exception views and accuracy tracking your planners will actually use.
Forecasts for products with no sales history yet. We size the opportunity from patients or shoppers, shape the uptake from comparable launches, and track early results so the plan adjusts fast.
A forecast is only useful if it changes what you order. We connect demand to inventory policy, service levels and supply plans, from launch stock to long-range capacity, without overstocking.
Long-range plans, portfolio scenarios and the KPIs leadership runs the business on. We align stakeholders on one number and build decision frameworks that hold up in leadership and board review.
When the question doesn't fit a standard model: simulation, optimization, machine learning and large-batch forecasting, built in R and Python. The same methods run inside every service we offer.
How engagements run
A governed demand model running on your data in about 2 weeks; most clients see measurable results within 30 days.
Discover
We review your data, planning cadence and tools, find where forecast error costs money, and agree measurable outcomes in a pilot statement of work.
Build and validate
We build the model on your data and back-test it against holdout periods, so you see the accuracy before anything goes live. Typically about two weeks.
Operationalize
We wire the forecast into your planning cycle, train your team, and expand once the results are proven. Most clients see measurable results within 30 days.

Frequently asked questions
What does a forecasting consulting engagement include?
A pilot statement of work with measurable outcomes agreed upfront, a demand model built and back-tested on your data, and an operational hand-off into your planning cycle. Engagements run Discover, Build and validate, then Operationalize.
Do we need to buy software to work with your consultants?
No. Our consultants work with your existing tools where that makes sense. When software helps, we use RoadMap GPS, TrailBlazer or the Geneva API.
How do you prove ROI before we scale?
We agree on the outcome metrics in the pilot SOW, such as forecast error, inventory or stockouts, and measure them against your current process before expanding the engagement.
Can you work with regulated or sensitive data?
Yes. We build all data work with security in mind, including HIPAA-aligned de-identification for life science and healthcare data. See Data Security & Privacy.
What's your forecast costing you right now?
Tell us where planning hurts. We'll come back with a pilot scope and the outcomes we'd measure.
